Is there any tired and stressed European who has not dreamed of exchanging mundane everyday life for a faraway palm tree island? This was also true in the 18th century when James Cook & co discovered the South Sea Island paradises was and of course nowadays with holiday flights and cruise ships these alleged paradises have even become accessible for a quick stop. The Lautten Compagney, renowned master navigators between styles and eras, set out on a journey to distant shores presenting themselves as an extraordinary revue band that mixes an eclectic audio cocktail of South Sea desires. Result? No clichés untouched and no dry eyes left. It’s the perfect sundowner for a summer evening in the Orangery Palace, winter home to southern sprouts and plants.
