During the Rococo period, the enthusiasm for dance knew no bounds: French dance masters taught the whole of Europe how to move more beautifully. From the dance floor and ballroom, the dances migrated to the theaters as ballet and came to the fore in concerts, when master composers ennobled them with their art. The music of the time is pulsating with dance rhythms.
