Divine: night music for viols by Henry Purcell, William Lawes & Michael Nyman

The night viol is the secret queen of the night welcoming you to Frederick II’s delightful guest palace: the later the evening the more enticing the scent. The old English masters’ tonal magic unfolds more enticingly than ever in the dialogue with composer Michael Nyman when top viol consort Fretwork make their viols flourish in the nightly Ovid Gallery.

Additional culinary delights are provided by a dinner at 19:00 h in nearby Restaurant Mövenpick »Zur Historischen Mühle«. A three-course, »fauna & flora themed« set-menu is available for 59,- € (2 people), a bottle of white or red wine is included. The menu will be available online as of 1^st April 2020.
