Baroque master Henry Purcell really goes Latino when Cuba’s leading Early Music ensemble gets his America fantasy going with rumba and fandango: the music of Latin America has always been a mix of European baroque and local musical traditions. Having already been celebrated as top audience favourites at Vienna’s Konzerhaus, the guests from Havana now take to the atmospherically lit stage in front of stunning Orangery Terraces and put on a ravishingly colourful show bringing the island festival to its rousing finale.
