Flower Power Baroque

Baroque, folk and sixties-rock as inspiring genre mix: freedom for early music!

program

16:00 h BAUER, VOGT & DAME
The trio is inspired by the sixties when it cruises adventurously between jazz and world music.

18:00 h THE BIRKIN TREE
Bagpipes and Celtic flutes make the ensemble take their audience all the way to the green island’s relaxing vastness.

19:00 h BRÚ
Folk baroque band Brù and its front woman Luciana Manicini radiate Scandinavian midsummer flair.

20:15 h MARCO BEASLEY AND FRIENDS
An unmistakeably light timbre and the melodiousness of an Italian bard: in Marco Beasley’s rendition lute songs sound as wistful as canzones.

21:30 h VOKALENSEMBLE PUTNI
The women from Riga mix madrigals and medieval sounds with modern Latvian love songs.

22:45 h THE SOUL UNIT
Master lutenist Luca Pianca takes on an e-guitar and revives the music from the sixties with his band.
