Bicycle Concert – Off into the Green
Tour 1 (33 km)
Potsdam, eine Stadt zwischen Geschichte und Zukunft, erhält eine lebendige Gegenwart durch die Schaffenskraft ihrer Bürger: Engagierte Privatpersonen, Freundes- und Förderkreise, sie alle bringen als Kulturerben Potsdams ihre jeweiligen Herzensangelegenheiten in Architektur, Gartenbau und Kunst voran und tragen so zur lebenswerten Atmosphäre ihrer Stadt bei. Drei Touren stehen zur Wahl: Mit zahlreichen Stationen, zum Teil von ungewöhnlichen Duos aus Musik, Artistik und Tanz bespielt, laden sie dazu ein, beim Fahrradkonzert 2023 die Stadt aus dem Blickwinkel dieser Freundes- und Liebhaberinitiativen zu ent-decken. Und am besten bringen Sie Ihre Freunde dazu mit!

Since the incorporation of Groß Glienicke in 2003, Potsdam's future also lies in the north of the city. In a picturesque location, bordered by forests and several lakes, a green urban space worth living in is being created here: Krampnitz. The tour leads through the New Garden along the Jungfernsee to Potsdam's north and into the middle of the magnificent nature of the Königswald. On the way, we stop at historical buildings that have been recultivated with dedication, such as the Alexanderhaus and the Villa Jacobs. The Garde-Ulanen barracks, rededicated and restored, is now open for a variety of uses. Our greenest tour 2023 and a recommendation for nature lovers!

Start: Yorckstraße/corner of Wilhelm-Staab-Straße. Here you exchange your ticket for the day pass and your personal travel documents. Only then will you have free access to all events. In the historic parks, bicycle traffic is only permitted on the designated routes in compliance with the StVO.
