Potsdam has friendly ties with nine partner cities on three continents. Three of them have sent musical ambassadors to the Island of Friendship and there’s something there for everyone: exceptionally gifted jazz clarinetist Gabriele Mirabassi brings a trio of top musicians, comedic a capella sextet Vocabular from Luzern join in with their distinguished Swiss German Beatboxing and the group of young baroque virtuosos around François Lazarevitch bring a touch of Versailles to Potsdam. Representatives of the Partnership Friends Groups such as Bernd Malzani from the Friends of Potsdam-Perugia talk briefly about their involvement. Friends do their best for friends and their city and their guests at the opening festival of the Music Festival 2023.
A certain number of seats are available, but you are also welcome to bring your picnic blanket and make yourself comfortable.
