It speaks of loving togetherness in happy and in sad times, of self-interest and false friends and it even mentions kissing as a way of connecting two souls. La Reverdie take this booklet as their inspiration for a musical discovery of the multifaceted institution that is friendship. Two pairs of sisters founded the award-winning ensemble. Its delightful interpretations created many new friends of medieval music.
