Spaniards in Arcadia

The rococo shepherd stories signify a longing for a mythical Arcadia where unconstrained children of nature live on nothing but love on an island of timeless happiness. Multi award-winning ensemble L’Apothéose, currently one of the most exciting newcomer ensembles on the baroque scene, whisks you away to a Spanish arcadia of music and poetry. Listen to them painting idyllic scenes and the nightingales of Aranjuez will sing more beautifully than ever in the arcadian realm that is Sanssouci.
