Not one but two Elizabethan eras are on display: when the contemporaries of Elizabeth II start a dialogue with father figures of English music whose work coincided with the current monarch’s legendary namesake and the great British choir tradition demonstrators its vitality throughout the centuries. Especially when masterly presented by ORA Singers, winners of the 2018 Opus Klassik »Ensemble of the Year« Award who are also one of the most important global commissioners for new choral music. Their charismatic director Suzi Digby is a leading figure in the British choir scene – which is probably why she was appointed choir manager for the 50th Anniversary Tour of the Rolling Stones!
