A promenading concert with medieval music, guided garden tours & panel of experts
Medieval paintings often depicted the Virgin Mary in flower gardens with symbolical meaning. Holy flowers of »pagan« goddesses were given a Christian meaning and added to Mary’s garden. Ars Choralis Coeln frame two guided tours of the floral world with three concerts providing meditative moments with medieval music delicately performed in enticing tonal colours. The panel of botanic, perfume and beekeeping experts in turn know all about the very real powers of the flowers.
