On 4th November 1989 thousands of Potsdam people came to what was then the »Square of the Nations« joining the largest rally for a peaceful revolution. We owe the fact that nowadays Luisenplatz is in full bloom to Eleanora Terrelonge-Griffith de Franke, who has been replanting the square since 2012 at her own expense. Is there any square in Potsdam uniting power and flowers? It has got to be this one! You are cordially invited to join the Music Festival’s opening celebration.
