David Bowie lived in a backyard flat in Berlin Schöneberg from 1976 till 1978. At the Hansa Studios in Kreuzberg he recorded »Low« und »Heroes«, two of his most important records. The insular atmosphere of the walled-in city with its burgeoning subcultures boosted his creativity immensely!
At a time when going from (East) Berlin to Potsdam by train meant going round West Berlin, Potsdam Pirschheide Station served as Potsdam’s central station. Since then, it has become an event location. So, get ready to enjoy Bowie in the ticket hall. Funky!
