Spring winds or summer storms, scorching heat or black ice: on the Grand Tour with Vivaldi, all weather conditions become pure listening pleasure. The "Four Seasons" were first published in print in 1725, and since then, they have delighted millions of audiences and inspired the best violinists: like Shunske Sato, who will lead the European Union Baroque Orchestra at the anniversary concert. For 40 years now, it has brought together young talents from all over Europe who regularly meet for intensive rehearsals with leading Baroque specialists. They have joined the brilliant tone painter Vivaldi with two other masters of this art: in Telemann, Hamburg sea gods play with wind and waves - and in the Frenchman Rebel, the four elements dance perfectly out of the wild chaos of sound.
