The inaccessible gap between dreaming and being awake, that is where the god Morpheus resides, taking on thousands of different characters and paying visits to the sleeping souls.
Slipping from one state to the other is a most intimate moment of self-encounter. Here to capture it is a virtuosic dream team, playing a programme that oscillates between historically informed and unheard-of sounds: sounds that have developed from the analysis of Early Music compositions, and those that are created on the spot. The strawberry moon of dreamy folksongs rises in the cosmos of English Baroque harmony – and before we know it, the ancient telescope has turned towards our own times and our dreams…
