The midday concert series with promising newcomers to early music is always good for a surprise. Once again, four ensembles with high musical abilities and sophisticated program ideas are competing for the favor of the audience and the jury, chaired by Dorothee Oberlinger. The winner will be awarded with the opportunity to play a concert at the 2026 Music Festival. Last year's winners, Apollo's Cabinet, will play their way through baroque Europe on June 28 in the Raffael Hall of the Sanssouci Orangery Palace. And of course, this year too, the four ensembles will be fanning out to schools and daycare centers, providing young ears with early music.
Entrance: 12:45 pm
Enjoy around 60 minutes of music. Afterwards, Cafe Ricciotti offers a lunch dish starting at €9.50. Reservations must be made at least one week before the concert on 0331 585 652 20.
