The Bike Lovers Tour is a real workout – but the reflections of light on the water, the play of shadows in the Grunewald and Max Liebermann’s paintings more than make up for it with their scenic delights. And your ears are in for a treat too: with CHANGING LIGHTS by soprano Anna Herbst in the coach house of the Brandenburg Museum, the twinkling horns of DUOS WEITKLANG at Gasthof Moorlake, or the rousing groove of the band NORTHERN LIGHT, combined with a fantastic panoramic view from the Grunewald Tower. We encounter the former dark side of the division of Germany at CHECKPOINT BRAVO, before St Nicholas’ Church calls us to the finale: with the vocal sextet SJAELLA and their programme “Corpus & Lumen”, the longest tour on the longest day of the year comes to an atmospheric close.
