Romeo und Julia would have preferred listening to the nightingale and feared the new day’s herald just like in medieval times secret lovers feared the call from the guard on the battlement. However, music loving early birds get to catch something truly delightful: the atmospheric open-air concert by Candens Lilium brings to life not only the lark’s morning songs but also morning praises as sung by Hildegard of Bingen’s nuns as well as dawn songs performed by troubadours and minstrels  - in dew-fresh interpretations by two true masters.

In case of rain the concert takes place in the Orangery Palace’s Court of Columns. An abundant breakfast will be served in nearby Restaurant Mövenpick »Zur Historischen Mühle« in any case: the breakfast buffet offers something for everyone – from sweet delight to savoury delicacy (non-alcoholic beverages are included).
