All flowers will wither: a lieder evening with music by Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann, Johannes Brahms, Gustav Mahler & Henry Purcell in a fleeting stage design by Jonas Dahlberg
An outstanding contemporary lieder interpreter meets a music band from the East Tyrol mountains whose daring new interpretations of romantic song collections have taken international concert venues by storm. Behind them a celebrated video artists sets the ravages of time in motion – unnoticeable but inevitable. Together they create an extraordinary lieder evening about the impermanence of great emotions and their stubborn survival in the space of longing that is music.
