Grazing sheep in Sanssouci are more and more common and the world heritage park’s gardeners happily welcome their »woolly colleagues« – as natural lawnmowers they also promote a return to more biodiversity. Meet the shepherd of Sanssouci with his flock on the meadow by the Temple of Friendship. Petting the thick wool is definitely allowed! The stem of the giant knotweed is perfect for chipping shepherd flutes before the baroque shepherd concert makes flutes twitter and bagpipes grumble.
