In the divine punishment Michelangelo Falvetti, chapel master at the cathedral of Messina, turns the raging elements into an impressive fresco of both great dramatic momentum and lyrical intensity. In 2010 Leonardo García Alarcón and his fellow campaigners woke the wrongly forgotten composer's masterpiece from its archival sleep. Great international success followed immediately. A discovery!
