description

The original meaning of "enchanter" is "to enchant with singing" and that is exactly what Les Musiciens de Saint-Julien are planning on doing when they whisk you away into the world of the "airs de cour" for an hour. Three beautiful halls at the New Chambers, the small palace for guests in Park Sanssouci, serve as venues where you experience the history of secular vocal music and how it was cultivated as witty entertainment in noble houses during the 16th and the 17th century. From singing for several voices via melodic solo songs to the Italian-inspired cantata.
