description

One of his period's greatest violin virtuosos unfolds the miracle of his art to invoke the mysteries of his faith. However, being catholic is by no means a necessary condition for experiencing his music's exhilarating expressiveness and beauty. What makes Biber's cycle unique is the fact that each sonata requires a different tuning of the violin subtly changing resonances, tonal colours and playing possibilities. Each tuning unlocks only one secret, each sonata creates its own world and none is like any other in its plays with forms.

Event is in the past.
