description

Generously – like a tree offering its fruits to anyone – that is how the Electorally Brandenburg Chamber Musician Esaias Reusner wanted to pass his "New Fruits of the Lute" to his musician friends. The sound magicians surrounding lutenist Jurgen De Bruyn feed these delicious old music fruits into a system of twelve microphones and one mono speaker sensitively reacting to each of the soloist's actions. Because a person is always at the centre of the microcosm symbiotically linked to the sound eco system. Human being and music, live sounds and preserved ones, past and present become this inner garden's humus soil for a new kind of metamorphosis where micro- and macrocosm become one. In the end players and audience return to Reusner's tree from paradise – but will the fruits be the same?

Event is in the past.
